 Taxi (Airport - City - Airport) Services? |

| What are the means to reach the city (Secunderabad) from the new airport? Are there any taxis run by the airport? If so, how do one pay for or book these taxis? What would be the approx. charges from Shamshabad airport to Secunderabad station? |

I am really wondering about this... especially those who live way other side of the Airport, I mean after the Secunderabad area. I am sure there are some TAXI services are there but I am not sure about the price or charges to reach.
It's a very concerning issue at this moment though !

Wow, this could be an expensive deal, if I were to reach Shamshabad Airport all the way from Secunderabad.

I agree...
It would be expensive & time consuming to reach the city. And what about the safety & genuineness of the taxi drivers? You never know, apne city may humko tourist samajhke thug na le!

I like what you just said - "apne city may humko tourist samajhke thug na le"
If one were to leave HYD for any other desitination... I believe it's better rent a car in advance from a known sources, like 2 - 3 days before.
If one were to travel HYD then it's better to ask friends and relatives to arrange some transportation - that gives a great peace of mind.
It's just my opinion though... |

| if u use the Radio cabs its a large chunk on the wallet. RS 15 per km. I ended up spending close to 1500 to and from the airport. |

 we have many options like Green Cabs ,Radio Cabs ,Orange Cabs do u ppl know that There'z a Bus frm Airpot to city i dont know the exact tym.. |

Hi everybody,, I think that the website should also feature the means of transport into the city like taxis, govt run services etc.
I wonder why the website constructors did not think about it..no wonder the airport is 25-28 kms from the city.. |

Radio Taxi service at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is provided by key service providers Meru and Easy cabs for the convenience of our customers. It is an air taxi service bundled with the interest accrued on the basis of meter reading at the end of the trip.
